Emily Peacock is a native of Tampa, Florida. She is the daughter of Mildred and Sandy Geer and a graduate of Plant High School, Vanderbilt University, and Stetson University College of Law.
Emily has a broad range of experience as an attorney. She has previously been a criminal prosecutor, an attorney for the Florida Division of Children and Families, a public defender, a sole practitioner, and a partner in a civil law firm where she handled complex civil cases. She has been admitted to practice in the State of Florida and numerous Federal Courts. She is also a certified mediator.
Emily is married and currently practices law with her husband Mike Peacock at the Peacock Law Firm, P.A. in Tampa, Florida. She and her husband have two children. Their son is a recent graduate of the University of Tampa and will be the Director of Bands at Plant City High School in the Fall. Their daughter is a student at the University of Tampa and is employed by the Office of the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida. Emily is a long time member and elder at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church.
